Overview

Renal of the website for "Cattleya," a community-based hair salon in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
While maintaining the atmosphere of the existing site, we improved the structure to better convey the salon's charm and sense of security, such as being fully barrier-free for ease of movement for the elderly, wheelchair users, and strollers.

Website

Objective

Created with consideration for users of all ages, aiming for a user experience that is easy to view and navigate without confusion.

Target

Wide range of age groups

Design

The design concept focused on cleanliness, visual comfort, and peace of mind for everyone.
The owner's favorite purple color was adopted as the main color to create a soft and calm impression.

Also, reflecting the owner's desire to make it "a beauty salon where the whole family can go, from grandparents to sons/daughters and grandchildren," we conscious of design that can be intuitively understood regardless of age or IT literacy.
It is a simple and easy-to-understand structure that emphasizes UI / UX without relying too much on decoration.

Information Architecture

Constructed to convey the salon's atmosphere and thoughts at a glance, giving a sense of security even to first-time visitors.

In the menu/service introduction, treatments such as cut, color, perm, and treatment are organized so that fees and contents can be grasped intuitively.
Also, assuming visits from a wide range of ages, we have also considered font size and flow lines.

In access/reservation flow, the flow line was simplified to connect to visits and inquiries without hesitation, enhancing usability as a community-based salon.
